EXPEDITING

Late delivery of long lead items can affect the entire supply chain, increasing risks, costs and delays. Ensuring the project on time schedule, the expediting services are even more strategic, by inspecting/checking suppliers progress and reporting on real time situations and decisions taken to meet the schedule.

Expediting & Inspection Management services include:

• Desk Expediting: the activity is carried out at the customer office and consists in monitoring the issuance of the required documents, the suborders issue, the progress of the fabrication and materials delivery on site.
• Field Expediter: the field expediter assures that the process of engineering, procurement, fabrication and supplies delivery are in line with contractual milestones. Field expediter activities are performed at vendors’ premises.
• Project Coordinator: Project coordinator establishes, jointly with the customer, plan of visits and the level of required services, coordinates the inspectors providing them the necessary information, documentation and instruction to perform the expediting and inspection activities.
