QHSE AUDITING and EN 1090 Certifications
Consultancy to upgrade the Quality/Safety system to the latest reference standards releases (ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007) and support to internal and external personnel during the certification body audits.
The services offered by E&IM are:
- Coordination with the (internal or external) resources involved in the process, analysis of the available documentation, implementation of the upgrading plan
- Preparation or review of the necessary documents
- Internal training on potential procedural impacts
- Presence in Certification body pre-audits, if required
- Eventual corrective actions to be implemented

EN 1090 Certifications
The European Construction Products Regulation CPR EU/305/2011 states that the CE mark is mandatory (from 1st July 2014) for all the welded steel or aluminium structures launched in the European market.
To get the CE mark, the manufacturer needs a certified EN 1090-1 Factory Production Control (FCP); to run the activities according to the ISO 3834 (with or without certification), and to realize the product in compliance to the EN 1090-2 (if steel) or EN 1090-3 (if aluminium).
The ISO 3834, “Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials”, defines the criteria for a Company that welds in quality; in many parts it is similar to ISO 9001 and can be subjected to certification.
The EN 1090 and ISO 3834 standards provide for the presence of a Coordinator, during welding, and his name must be reported in the organizational chart and in the certifications.
To become Welding Coordinator a EN 1090-2 qualification, together with proven operational experience are required.
E&IM can provide a "Responsible Welding Coordinator" level S. by EWF (European Welding Federation) and a IWE, "International Welding Engineer", by IIW (International Institute of Welding).

- Preparation and implementation of a Factory Production Control (FPC), on EN 1090 for the structures CE marking, as required by EU Regulation 305/2011 CPR
