The Cramlington Biomass Combined Heat and Power Plant is located IN the Cramlington Industrial Estate.
The Cramlington Plant is a Virgin wood and a small fraction of clean recycled wood fired Combined Heat and Power station, with the following main characteristics:
BIOMASS GASIFICATION PLANTS (ITALY) – 4 X 228 KWe
The gasification of biomass with downstream gas engine conversion of the producer gas into power and heat offers a technical possibility for the provision of combined heat and power (CHP) from a renewable energy source, in the sense of cogeneration plants.
ITUVERAVA Photovoltaic Plant (Brazil) – 254 MW
Ituverava is EGP’s largest solar plant in the state of Bahia, Brazil (254 MW), requiring around US$ 440 million investment for the construction phase, and it is expected to be able to generate more than 550 GWh of electricity each year, once complete. This is equivalent to meeting the annual energy consumption of more than 268,000 Brazilian households.
